Long Time Coming, at&t Makes a Positive Announcement
On Monday, March 17th, at&t will be making a great announcement that will satisify alot of term employees.
at&t has come to the realization that it is close to 10% of the amount of term employees per the MOA that was put into effect during 2007. As a result, the company is going to allow an amount of term employees to become Regular Full Time.
Any term employee that has been with the company for 9 months or longer will be made full regular employees. However....
In order to actually be made as full regular employees, any term employee that has been with the company for 9 months or longer must meet certain critieria. Below is the requirements:
- Must have 9 months of Net Credit Service (NCS), or more
- Cannot have ANY entries of any kind
- Must have a Satisfactory YTD Appraisal (SAT YTD Performance Report Card for consumer folks)
- Must have a Satisfactory Attendance record
This change will go into effect on April 7th of 2008. Keep in mind that even if you do meet the above criteria does not mean that you will be made full regular.

Use of Term Employees
BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. (the Company) and the Communications Workers of America (the Union) agree to modify the BST working agreement concerning the use of Term employees as follows: |
Scope: Any work currently performed by employees holding the title of Service Representative or Sales Associate. |
